After the new name for the school was chosen, Biraban Public School held a competition in 1978 to decide on a logo for the school.
It was to have no more then two colours (maroon and blue). It had to be a simple design and the lettering had to be Biraban Public School. The winner was Michelle Edwards from 1978's 6H.

Ms Coleman kindly provided us with a photo of her original school badge – one of the very first! It is amazing that the design is still in use and so similar! Thank you, Michelle!
